Before founding Voyager Pools in 2022, Ben Irby spent many years as a pool technician, studying how pools work and how consistent maintenance is necessary to keep them in top shape throughout the seasons. Working in both large & small companies, all aspects of pool service, water filtration, equipment repair and maintenance, water feature maintenance, deck upkeep, and client satisfaction were explored.

Ben also spent a year as the right hand and head service tech for a fellow pool service tech for a fellow pool service business owner as he was preparing for retirement. An avid travel enthusiast, Ben loves skiing, backpacking, and hitting the open road on his motorcycle. He is committed to exploring all the national parks, visiting every state in the US, traveling everywhere he can in the world, and plans to one day summit Mount Whitney.
